Brian Staufenbiel is part of the voice department at the University of California, Santa Cruz where he teaches both undergraduate and graduate students. In this capacity, he has been nominated twice for UCSC’s "Outstanding Teaching Award” and has received on three occasions a “UCSC Mentor Award.” He is a full member of the National Associations of Teachers of Singing and serves on the Board of The National Opera Association and SongFest in San Francisco.
